USA Environmental, Inc. (USAE) was awarded a $95M cost-plus-award-fee, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for Munitions Response Actions (MRA) at former Navy facilities on Vieques, Puerto Rico, and other sites located within the area of responsibility of the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), including the continental United States, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia, Hawaii, Far East, Pacific, and other locations as required by the Government.
The munitions response actions include investigations, removal actions, and remedial actions in terrestrial areas (on or beneath the land surface) or aquatic environments (marsh areas, surf zones, intertidal areas, or other underwater areas.)
USAE, along with 5 other awardees, was also awarded the $95M Range Sustainment and Remediation (RSR) Environmental Multiple Award Contract (EMAC) at various Department of Defense (DoD) installations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Alaska, Washington, and other installations within the NAVFAC Southwest area of responsibility.
The main focus of this contract is the performance of range sustainment projects, including clearance of unexploded ordnance (UXO) from military ranges, and the processing, recycling, demilitarization, and disposal of Materials Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard (MPPEH), including ordnance scrap and target debris.
